First you have to take in account is that you need to have installed HandcentSMS to install this plugin.
How does it work? Once you've installed it, enable it from HandcentSMS preferences and then choose "emoji" in the menu items. Thus, you will integrate an emoji to your text, changing that way it appearance. There are lots of emoji to choose, divided by categories. It has to be said that the most of them are similar (or even taken from) Whatsapp's emoji. But anyway, it's still great that HandcentSMS developer works on improve its app by including new services and features.
HandcentSMS is the only Android app developed by handcent_admin, an emerging developer. Besides, they have developed a lot of language packages, themes, skins and many others plugins, likes this one.
If you're already using HandcentSMS, just liven up your SMS with colored emoji. Recommendable.
** HOW TO USE**
Just installed this plugin and enable it from by insert smileys from handcent and choose "emoji" menu item,if you send to android phone ,please make sure the recipient has been installed HANDCENT SMS & HANDCENT EMOJI PLUGIN also.
if you send to iphone ,it will disaply directly without install any application or plugin.

Handcent SMS 3.7.2 + Emoji Plugin 1.1 has been supported send Emoji to AT&T iphone from any carrier's android phone. It also supported send emoji to all carrier's android phone that installed handcent + emoji plugin,please update

Version 3.0 has been supported iOS6 Emoji display and input ,please update this plugin and update Handcent SMS to Version 4.5 also
